This quilt was made by my mom (of course this is her blog) She came to Pittsburgh to visit and I had been planning this quilt for ever, but was just not getting around to it. She made the whole thing for me. It's a queen size for Jordyn's bed. She also altered the sheets so that we could use some of the sheet material in the quilt and make them match. Thanks Mom! Your the Best!
This is the quilt my mom made for Jordyn when she was a baby. Jordyn is 5 now but she loves this quilt. I love that it matches her bedroom and I love the embroidered little girls. Each square is different.

Superman!

Happy Birthday Jeremy and Kyle. Yes only one here but I made two. This quilt is made from a 1976 (the year Jeremy was born) sheet and backed with red fleece. I quilted using free motion quilting and of course signed both.

The Almost Beginings

This was Amanda's second (I think) quilt. She started it in Utah and I finished it, just the borders, quilting and binding.

Amanda's quilt inspired me to make my "Flag Quilt." It actually took me a long time. It ended up in the closet for months until I got it our again. I backed it with terry cloth so I could use it swimming during the summer. I drag it out every 4th of July! I should get together with Preston and his quilt!

Kenton's Quilt

I found this picture of Kylie (?) But the fun dino quilt is the one I made Kenton when his parents dragged him across the country away from me! It was my coping method! I think Janene made the other quilt when she went to see Amanda in Utah.

Cheater

This is a cheater quilt. I think Amanda gave me the material. But all I had to do was sandwich and quilt. No piecing. I did put on the border. I gave it to Sister Moore to welcome her tiny baby boy. I did make a matching hat.

Not Sure?

I don't remember making this quilt. Maybe I did, maybe I didn't. But it's pretty cute!
