This quilt was made by my mom (of course this is her blog) She came to Pittsburgh to visit and I had been planning this quilt for ever, but was just not getting around to it. She made the whole thing for me. It's a queen size for Jordyn's bed. She also altered the sheets so that we could use some of the sheet material in the quilt and make them match. Thanks Mom! Your the Best!

The Almost Beginings
This was Amanda's second (I think) quilt. She star
ted it in Utah and I finished it, just the borders, quilting and binding.
Amanda's quilt inspired me to make my "Flag Quilt." It actually took me a long time. It ended up in the closet for months until I got it our again. I backed it with terry cloth so I could use it swimming during the summer. I drag it out every 4th of July! I
should get together with Preston and his quilt!Thursday, September 11, 2008
