Nine different fabrics. A fun, easy process. Each fabric is cut 12" (or 9" or 15" or any number divided by 3") square and then the fun begins! If you do it right (that means following directions) you end up with nine quilt squares with nine different fabrics in each! This quilt measures 33 1/2" square. It is backed with a yellow flannel that was quilted in 2" squares. I tried the free motion quilting for the first time. It is harder than it looks and I keep loosing my place! The quilt is small but OK for a baby. I used the 12" square to start with. To make a large quilt you could make two sets of the blocks or start out with a bigger square. I think I will try an 18" next time. Even though it is small it is one of my favorites! I thought about giving it away and decided to keep it at least for a little while! Oh, and thank you Hev for sharing some of your fun fabrics!
